A working group was made up of leaders from the Assabet River Rail Trail, the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, the Dept of Conservation and Recreation, the East Coast Greenway Alliance,  Massachusett Bicycle Coalition, the MassCentral Rail Trail Coalition, and the Wachusett Greenways.

We've been meeting twice a month since early May and though the event has evolved and the road has been long, the passion to bring valued resources like trails and greeenways to all corners of the Commonwealth hasn't waned.
